At The Sanctuary Supernatural School of Ministry, the pursuit of God’s presence is our daily  priority. Our single ambition is to raise a generation that intimately knows Jesus through  encounters that revive, affirm, and empower the hearts of His children. Our mission is to see  people burn with a passion for all to come to know Jesus, boldly advancing the Kingdom of  Heaven with authority.

His presence is our priority. His leadership is our success. Knowing Him is life.

Students will be immersed in a biblically grounded curriculum, equipped in the supernatural,  formed in practical life skills, and commissioned to lead ministries that impact cities and nations.  They are trained for the sake of Jesus’ name, carrying His gospel to the ends of the earth.

When life is gained through fellowship with Jesus, the only fitting response is to give away what has been received. The pursuit of Jesus is what we were created for, and the establishing of heaven on earth is not a future hope; it is a present reality. 

Preach the gospel. Heal the sick. Raise the dead. Cleanse the lepers. Cast out demons. Walk in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit. 

This is not merely an instruction to be followed, but an identity to be lived. It is not simply something we are told to do; it is what we were made to do.

MATTHEW 10:7-8

And as you go, preach, saying, 'The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received; freely give.

Jason Howard serves as the Senior Leader of The Sanctuary Church in Pittsburgh, but he would tell you first that he is a man carried by the love of God. Marked by both deep personal brokenness and unexpected grace, his life is a story of how God can rebuild what feels beyond repair and turn ashes into a place of encounter.

Dean and Director

Cole Yocca serves as the Assistant Pastor at The Sanctuary Church, a community devoted to prioritizing the presence of God and cultivating a dwelling place for Him. Marked by a profound encounter with the Spirit of the Lord, Cole carries a singular burden that has shaped his life and ministry: to make Jesus known through intimate fellowship and pure-hearted devotion.

Bill Spahr

Teacher

Earlier in his life, Bill Spahr heard Jesus clearly say, “Leave this life of sin and follow Me.” In  obedience, Bill walked away from his secular career that very day and has been faithfully  walking with the Lord ever since. With over 40 years of ministry experience, Bill has  encountered both the trials and triumphs that come with a life fully laid down for Jesus.  Today, his greatest desire is to open-handedly impart to the next generation all that he has  seen God do throughout his life.

Taylor Hiott

Teacher

Taylor Hiott has been a co-owner and co-founder of multiple companies, primarily in the e-commerce field. He and his wife Brooke have been a part of The Sanctuary for over 10 years and have served as volunteers in many capacities over that time. Taylor is currently the Associate Senior Leader (read: Executive Pastor) at The Sanctuary. He is a proud dad of 3 boys (with another boy on the way!) and passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God.
